Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is said to be working on a smaller version of its Honor V9 smartphone. Likely to be called V9 Mini, the smartphone is expected to come with a compact and slimmer design as compared to the Honor V9.
According to images leaked in a Weibo post, the Honor V9 Mini, will flaunt a metal body design and the rear panel will house the dual rear camera setup placed horizontally along with the LED flash. The antenna bands run along the bottom and top edges and the fingerprint sensor and Honor logo are at the back.
The images also reveal that the volume rockers are placed on the right, while the SIM card tray is placed on the left. The USB Type C, 3.5mm audio jack and the speaker grille are placed on the bottom. The smartphone is said to come in Blue and Black colour options. The images do not reveal any details about the specifications of the device.
Recently, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched its fitness tracker Honor Band 3. Priced at Rs 2,799, the Honor Band 3 is available in Dynamic Orange, Classic Navy Blue and Carbon Black colour options and is exclusively available on Amazon.
The Honor Band 3 comes with a 0.91-inch POLED display with 128×32 pixel resolution. The device features a heart rate monitor and is water resistant up to 50 meters. Connected via Bluetooth, the fitness tracker is compatible with both Android and iOS operating systems.Measuring 10.3 x 43 x 16.5mm, the device comes with M4 core technology which enables support for floating-point operations along with an optimized algorithm to measure accurate heart rate. The fitness tracker is backed by a 105mAh battery which promises to deliver 30 days of battery backup.
