India’s ‘cheapest’ smartphone
Micromaxhas launched what can be called as the India’s ‘cheapest’ smartphone. The domestic handset maker has launched its Bharat 2 UltraAndroid smartphone with an effective price of Rs 999. For this, the smartphone maker has joined hands with Vodafone. It has been reported that users will be able to get their hands on the device from first week of November. Cheapest 4G phone
For Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra, users would have to pay Rs 2,899 as down payment. This brings the effective price of the handset at Rs 999.
Available for new and existing Vodafone users
The Rs 999 offer is available for new and existing Vodafone customers. After paying the down payment for the device, they would have to recharge it with Rs 150 each month for 36 months (3 years). This means they would have to spend Rs 5,400 over three years on the handset. This cost will be completely borne by customers.
Runs on Spreadtrum processor
Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra runs on a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
Has a 4-inch display
Micromax Bharat 2 Ultra features a 4-inch display with WVGA (800×480 pixels) resolution.
